The following subjects are taught by specialist teachers in Key Stage 4,
Years 10 and 11 - IGCSE Courses:

All students will study towards obtaining the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) which is recognised worldwide.

All pupils will take the following core subjects to examination level:
• English
• Mathematics

General Science or at least two of the following individual sciences:
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology
• History or Geography
• Portuguese
• Physical education is a compulsory and timetabled non-examination subject for all pupils

Further examination subjects must be chosen from:
• English Literature
• ICT (Information and Communications Technology)
• French
• Music
• Physical Education
• Art
• Business Studies
(Each pupil will normally take a total of nine subjects at examination level)
